Great for anyone interested in pigeons! How to raise and train pigeons is a wonderful, informative book that is great for the beginner. It has tons of color photos and plenty to read about. There are many topics mentioned, such as breeding, feeding, and maintaining the health of your birds. It is easy to understand and well written. I would recomend this book to advanced pigeon keepers as well as beginners just learning what it's all about.

This book covers the 5 major sports with different strategies specific to each sport. I would suggest this book especially if you can get it used really cheap like I did. Excellent book for kids starting to readAs we in the Children's Book world know, Michelle Nechaev has special talents, which allow her to express simple, yet poignant, messages about cause and effect within the framework of social responsibility. Excellent for children who are beginning to read, Nechaev conveys universals themes of teamwork and cooperation which resonate well in the minds of our young ones. Creative and subtle, Nechaev does it again. This is Nechaev's best book so far, although I highly recommend her other publications as well.

A brilliant work-- will change face of modern fiction!Mr. Arieff's brilliant "Hypoxia, Metabolic Acidosis, and the Circulation" combines innovative story-telling with realistic, gritty dialogue. His detailed plot themes and varied characters make the book one of the most enjoyable and modern books since Conrads "Heart of Darkness."

I Am a Baby (Knee-High Book)
Published in Hardcover by Random House (Merchandising) (January, 1900)
Average review score:

Wonderful for babies beyond "lift the flap" booksMy 18 month old picks this book up and leafs through it herself, she loves the pictures of baby Natasha and likes the baby sounds that Natasha makes when I read the book to her. She imitates the sounds "da da and ma ma, this is my daddy and this is my mommy" for example. She usually prefers "lift the flap books" but sits through the entire reading of this cute book about the life of a baby. Simple but enjoyable, good illustrations.

I Can If I Want To
Published in Paperback by FMC BOOKS (01 January, 2000)
Average review score:

Life changing, myth changingMost of us have a life filled with myths (e.g. its important to be right, other people are happy, don't hide your anger). This book takes on some of the most common myths...and provides another way to look at them. Its written by two of the most famous living therapists... a psychologist and psychiatrist who are both masters. Its easy to read and truly life changing. There aren't many books I can say that about. The book was a best seller in an earlier edition (in the 1980s) and went out of print. I assume this new publisher bought the rights. I'm really happy its back in print. Its a classic. This has long been one of my favorite books. Do not miss it!

I Celebrate You Michelle Allen's I Celebrate You Book
Published in Hardcover by J Countryman Books (20 September, 2000)
Average review score:

Wonderful gift for a friend!I received this book as a gift, and after seeing how special it is, I decided to buy a few to give as gifts as well. It allows you to personalize the gift by writing specific things about the gift receiver in the book, like "This is how you have made a difference in my life, "You bring happiness to others by, " and "Here are some of the wonderfully unique things I appreciate about you," just to mention a few. The illustrations are colorful and cheerful, and the quotes are very meaningful. It's definitely a feminine book, so I think it would go over better with the women. The friend that gave it to me also wrote other things in the book that went along with a picture or a quote, and that made it even more special. When I received "I Celebrate You!" it was so meaningul that it brought tears to my eyes. This book is a perfect small gift for that special friend in your life!

I Remain the Letters of Lew Welch and the Correspondence of His Friends
Published in Paperback by Subterranean Co (July, 1980)
Average review score:

A Great Poet's Life in LettersLew Welch's letters to Gary Snyder, Philip Whalen, Jack Kerouac, and many others make up one of the best written records of the Beat era available. Collected by Welch's friend, editor, and literary executor, Donald Allen, the letters offer a personal and very moving account of Welch's private life, as he struggled to find his place as a poet in the 1950s and 60's. More than any thing I've read in recent years, Welch's collected letters provide a historical overview of not just the poet's life, but the West Coast Beat circle, and the times they lived in.
